The exhibit at the Met fell nothing short of outrageous, breath taking, inspirational, as well as silent. After a 19 year career, to lose such an artist of our time that challenged and expanded the understanding of fashion beyond what we already know to an expression of culture, politics and identity is a silence in itself.
And to top it all off, were the 90 perfectly created head pieces all created by Guido ... take notes world!

BURQA WAYS

From the fashion likes of Givenchy, Mugler, French Vogue pages, and Pakistan fashion shows, the Burqa has been a controversial issue. Some, such as our President backs burqa wearing as a form of religious freedom while others, such as in France condemns it, as a women's right issue. But if you take a moment and think about the feeling of being covered under a piece of fabric your whole life, you may gain a greater respect for these women's wills and ways. Here are some beautiful visions and artistry in feeling the beauty of covering ones face...

SUMMER HATS LOOK BOOK

we put this Look Book together as a collaborative project between our hat designs, Hugh Lippe's amazing photography, our friend Cameron Russell was our amazing model; and model, Natasa Vojnovic (she was the face of our Fall Look book) helping in the styling...friends such as model Agyness Deyn stopped by to hang and show support. Was such a family moment! Thanks everyone!
